General Policies for Bike Fixed Departure-

 

-The check-in time is 12 noon/early check-in subject to the availability of the room.

-We require minimum strength of 7 riders to operate one group. We have the right to cancel the group if we do not get the minimum strength of riders in any group. If there are any additional expenses due to bad weather or any other reason beyond the control of the tour operator on account of a hotel stay, transportation, meals, etc. extra bill will be raised. Neither Mototour Ladakh nor the participating partners/hotels will be responsible for the additional expenses.

-The sequence of the day-wise itinerary tour program may change depending upon traffic schedules/restrictions on some roads and other unforeseen events.

-If any group member wants to leave the group in-between the tour then he/she has to pay the cost for transportation of bike from point of leaving the tour till the tour endpoint.

-Group members would have to carry a valid ID proof & Driving license is mandatory.

-All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. Only backpacks are allowed. You can carry luggage weighing not more than 10 Kgs per person with you. Extra luggage will cost you INR 500 per Kg.

-Compensation for any damage/accident done by you during the tour to others property/person would be directly payable by you.

-We have the right to cancel the departure due to insufficient members in the batches. In such a situation, guests are eligible for a full refund.

- Booking amount for any trip is valid for that particular year.

-Basic First Aid Kit - It’s advised that one should bring his/her own medicines which are known and suitable to him.

-Road Captain will be responsible to manage the group by taking all safety measures. The group has to follow him to make the tour a success.

-In case of an emergency, if any rider is feeling uneasy then he can sit in it and the mechanic will ride the bike. 

General Policies-

  • It is mandatory for all guests to carry a valid photo ID proof like Electoral ID Card, Your Passport, & Driving license at the time of Checkin.
  • Pan cards are not accepted as valid ID proof.
  • Mototour Ladakh reserves the right to change/ amend any policies depending on the nature of tour, season, etc. without prior notice.

Foreign National Policies- 

  • All terms and conditions will remain same except a foreign national is liable to pay USD 50 extra on all available bookings.

Cancellation Policy- We have the most flexible Cancellation policy 

For fixed departures

  • The Booking amount for all fixed departure trip is not refundable

For private/customised tours

  • Amount paid for confirmation of trip is not refundable for all private trip

Note: Child Policy

Child below 5 Yrs will be complimentary.

Child Between 5 to 8 is liable to pay 30% of the Package cost of per person.

Above 8 Yrs will be considered as Extra Bed.

Child above 12 is considered Adult. 

 

Prices valid from season 2024

  • Payment in Leh should be Cash Only.
  • Final Confirmation will be provided on down payment.
  • No Refund or Compensation for any unused services/transportation in any circumstance.

 

Rescheduling Policy for both Fixed departure and Private trip- 

In case you are unable to travel as planned and need to reschedule your date of travel:

Before 15 Days from the Date of Travel - One-time Complementary.
Within 15 Days from the Date of Travel - The cost of rescheduling needs to be paid by the guest subject to amendment charges from hotels and transporters.
 


Circumstances Beyond Our Control

In case of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to road blockage due to a landslide, heavy snowfall, avalanche and other natural disasters, war, terrorist activity and political insurgency, we reserve the right to cancel/reschedule/change tour plans. We cannot pay any compensation for monetary/value loss in such unforeseen situations.


Caution

Almost all of our tours operate in remote and secluded, and high altitude places like Ladakh. And comes with increased risk of high altitude related sickness, limited medical facilities, and fewer chances of immediate evacuation.
