Renting a bike in Ladakh is simple as producing your driving licence, and another identity card. But keep in mind though; that these roads are tricky and fewer people find themselves in a ditch. Any bike rental company will charge you for the damages on a bike if there is any, and it is important to bring your own gears for the ride, otherwise, we provide them as well.

Terms and Conditions for Bike Hiring
Not any agency are allowed to rent a motorbike to any customer who haven’t got a valid driving licence.
Only those motorcycle are valid to rent which are registered commercially with A.R.T.O Leh, which comes with a yellow number plate.
The rates were kept minimum by LADAKH BIKE CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED and if any bike rental agency is found renting bikes below the mentioned price the company will be strictly penalised with a fine of INR 5000.
No guarantee of any insurance or any other claims in case the bike is found to be rented below the Association rate list.
Half-day rent starts only from 2 pm.
NOTE- It has been strongly announced by LBCL that not any outsider rental bikes were allowed to sightseeing in Ladakh region except on the highways while checking in and out of the hotels.
