So, here we are presenting a 7 day leh ladakh bike trip, covering almost all aspects of Ladakh and even the places less travelled by most traveller. This bike trip is extensive 7 days touring, so be prepared for some hot or cold weather. We have put the utmost effort into making this trip one in a lifetime experience for a rider, this itinerary has been researched and carefully formulated after looking back at several of our tours in the past.
Ladakh is “the land of high passes” and most of which will be conquered in this Bike Tour Of Ladakh. And its beauty is not limited to high passes but its landscape, culture, and people are worth admiring in itself. Some of the places you are about to visit like Turtuk and Pangong were not open for tourist until few years back, all effort has been made to include places important in this Ladakh bike trip for 7 days, to make optimum use of your precious time.
We can host this ride for a private group or a random people group, and you can customise it to your liking if you represent a private group and are more then 9 people. You can choose to rent a bike in Ladakh or bring your own, please check the link for bike rental rates in Ladakh and outsiders bike policy. We make sure that all rented bikes are well-conditioned and ready for the trip, and you can choose between different types of bikes, Gears and accessory can also be hired. People bringing their own bike should make to the starting point 24 hours prior to departure. This motorcycle tour of Ladakh starts and ends from your hotel in Leh.

- Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like a landslide, road block etc.

Day 1- Arrival in Leh | Adapt for the day
- Our driver will receive you at the airport and will transfer to your hotel.
- You have to acclimatise to the new environment so, take a sip of water every 15 minutes to keep yourself hydrated.
- Rest till 4 pm, and visit Shanti stupa, Leh Palace and local market on your own.
- Walk back to the hotel and rest for the night.
Day 2- Sham Valley Sightseeing
Total distance: 240 km | Difficulty – moderate | Altitude – 11560ft
- Drive to the full day sightseeing of Sham valley.
- Visit Hall of fame, Magnetic hill, Pather Saheb Gurdwara and Sangam point.
- Back to the hotel and rest.
Day 3- Leh to Nubra Valley | Khardong-La (World highest motorable road )
Total distance 130 km | Difficulty – moderate | Altitude – 10,000 ft
- After breakfast drive through the mighty Khardon-La pass into the amazing Valley of Nubra.
- Reach Hunder by noon, camel riding at dunes.
- Cultural show at Hunder. And if time permits visit Diskit Monastery.
Day 4- Nubra to Turtuk village and back
Total Distance 150 km | Difficulty - Moderate | Altitude - 10,000ft
- After breakfast warm your motorcycle for some plain landscape of Nubra road. The view ahead is scenic and picturesque.
- Turtuk is a beautiful village with green pasture and only Balti tribe region under Indian administration.
- Spend some time in the village and have your lunch.
- Head back to your camp at Nubra.
- Stay at Camp in Nubra.
Day 5- Nubra to Pangong Lake | Shayok Valley
Total Distance 170 km | Difficulty - Hard | Altitude - 13,860 ft
- Today is for a treat because Shayok valley is a stunning landscape for any Ladakh bike tour, not only for the photographers but often times people would stop to look around and appreciate its barrenness and vastness.
- After punching some kilometres on the motorcycle you will come upon Durbuk village, this place is a must halt for any tourer. Continue your trip for Pangong lake and you will not fail to see the first glimpse of the lake from a roadside.
- You will continue your journey to Pangong lake alongside the lake.
- Overnight stay at Homestay/Camp.
Day 6: Pangong tso to Leh
Total distance 150 km | Difficulty – hard
- Serve yourself with a delicious meal in the dining tent and take a glimpse of the beautiful pangong lake. this leh to leh bike trip is worth-while because of this lake.
- take a walk at the lake-side or do some photography.
- Pack your bags and get ready to push for Chang-la pass(17800ft), this terrain is what bikers dreams of, keep up with the tour marshall for some off-roading experience.
- Reach Leh and Spend the remaining of your day at your leisure.
- overnight stay at Leh
Day 7: Departure
- After breakfast. You will be transferred to Leh airport for your flight back home.

- 25% Of the total tour cost will be charged if cancelled before 15 days before the tour departure date.
- 50% cancellation charges if cancelled 10 days before the tour departure date.
