Day 1- Arrival and acclimate to the new weather
- Reach Leh, you will be welcomed by our representative at the airport and will be transferred to the hotel in Leh.
- Later in the evening visit Leh palace situated above of Leh Town, is truly an awesome building that dominates the skyline for miles around. Constructed using traditional methods; with dried bud-bricks.
- And visit Shanti Stupa situated on a hill that overlooks the town. It was built by a sect of Japanese Buddhists to promote worldwide peace.
Day 2- Local sightseeing
- After breakfast, you will leave for Sangam point ( confluence of Zanskar and Indus river) which is around 30 km from the hotel.
- And on the way back visit Magnetic hill and experience the phenomenon that defies gravity, and after 4 km you will come across Pather Saheb Gurdwara.
- After that you will visit Hall of fame, this place is a war memorial. and they even show you a documentary on war.
- Head back to the hotel and rest.
Day 3- Leh to Nubra valley
- Today is an exciting part of the Leh Ladakh Budget Tour as you are heading towards the highest motorable road in the world ( Khardong-La ) 5400m.
- Don’t stay for more than 20 minutes at the top, it is not recommended. Take some photographs and descend to the beautiful valley of Nubra. Which translates to valley of flower.
- The view down from Khardong-la top is scenic so, don’t forget your camera.
- You will reach hundar at noon and check-into your hotel or camp at Nubra, later in the evening you will visit sand dunes for camel riding and cultural show.
- Overnight stay at Nubra.
Day 4- Nubra to Turtuk and Back
- After breakfast warm your spirit for some plain landscape of Nubra road. The view ahead is scenic and picturesque.
- Turtuk is a beautiful village with green pasture and only Balti tribe region under Indian administration.
- Spend some time in the village and have your lunch.
- Head back to your camp at Nubra.
- Stay at Camp in Nubra.
Day 5- Nubra to Pangong
- After breakfast, you will leave for the Great Pangong lake of Changthang via Shayok valley. Most budget oriented tour of Ladakh has Nubra and Pangong in two days, and you will be in a hurry all the time. so relax as we are taking one night rest at each place so that you can enjoy the tour.
- The route to Pangong from Shayok is a vast barren land and you will enjoy the picturesque of the valley, and upon reaching Pangong lake you will not fail to notice a blue lake from a mountain gap.
- 30% of the Lake in Indian territory and the rest is in China. Pangong Tso can reflect a few different colours depending on the sun.
- Overnight stay at Merak village.
Day 6- Pangong to Leh
- Rise early to catch a glimpse of the sunrise, which looks amazing when it reflects on the Lake. Have your tummy full and drive back to Leh via Chang-La pass ( 4300m )
- The terrain is bit bumpy so this is much of an adventure rally, on the way you will visit Druk Padma Karpo school famously known as 3 idiot school from the movie 3 idiots.
- Reach Leh and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7- Departure
- After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
